Capital One is opening a new “chef-led” lounge concept at both New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, the bank holding company announced.
The Capital One Landings lounges, developed in partnership with the José Andrés Group restaurant collection, will cover 10,700 square feet in the new LaGuardia Terminal B and 5,483 square feet in National’s Terminal 2. Its standout feature will be its food and beverage menu, for which the Andrés team is developing one focused on Spanish-style tapas, according to Capital One. The company did not give a specific opening date.
Capital One opened its first lounge at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport last year and expects to open additional Capital One lounges at Denver and Dulles international airports in early 2023. Lounge admission is free for cardholders. Venture X cardholders along with two guests per visit, while Venture and Spark Miles cardholders get two complimentary tickets per year with a discounted rate of $45 per visit after that. Other guests, including Capital One business cardholders, pay the full $65 per visit fee.
