CBIC Recruitment 2022: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is recruiting suitable and eligible officers to fill up the anticipated vacancy of 03 Superintendents & 03 Inspectors (from CGST & CX). These posts will be filled up on a deputation basis in the office of the Directorate General of Valuation, Mumbai. The age of the candidates shall be up to 56 years as on the date of this circular ie 20th June 2022.
To apply for the above-mentioned posts, the interested candidates should have the knowledge of the Customs Act, 1962 and Customs Valuation Rules, they should have exposure to Data Base Management systems, should have working experience in Website Management, and should also have knowledge of Computer Operation and Server Management. The officer selected for the deputation post at Mumbai Headquarters (Inspector) and at the South Zonal Unit – Chennai (Superintendent) would be entitled to deputation allowance as per the prevailing rules for the above-mentioned posts.
As per the official notification published on 20th June 2022 by the CBIC, if the officer’s performance or conduct is not considered to be satisfactory while employed by this Directorate General of Valuation, the officer may be returned to the parent Commissionerate prior to the expiration of the aforementioned deputation period.
